WE are proudly to announce contests for the selection of young people, within the project “Pictures for the region” who will spread and exchanged the cultural values of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Serbia, through photography.
The right to participate in the competition are persons aged 18-25.
Young people who never had a chance to travel around the region, with disabilities and/or with fewer opportunities, will have advantage during selection
The intention of the organizer was to photograph the life in the local community, which is why the following topics are covered:
А. Portrait
B. Folklore, that is, life and customs in the local area
C. Landscape in all its forms: landscape, seascape, cityscape, that is, photography which, in the participants’ opinion, best represents the local environment.
Photos must be in 20x30cm, 300dpi format.
The files are named as follows: Subject_Name_name Photo_ContractingParty
Example: A_Petar Petrovic_Por Portrait_RS, B_Dragan Markovic_svan song_AL etc.
Use only the English alphabet to mark files.
Properly marked works are displayed at: picturesfortheregion@gmail.com
Every participant need to fill ENTRY FORM.
Each participant can submit a maximum of 5 pictures.
The selector will review the pictures and contact the top 5 participants for further work.
The selected participants will be able to participate in two day workshop in North Macedonia, three day advanced workshop in Serbia, got familiar with cultures, history, tradition and folklore of cities and places where project activities implement and be empowered in articulation of their artistic potential and learning how to express their selves through photos
The deadline for submissions is: February 28, 2020.
